Pepsi Max (no sugar).

We colonial descendants of the English are a strange lot.

Tea normally has milk and sugar added. Tea without milk is called "black tea". With milk it is "white tea". My grandfather, in less politically correct times, used to say "I like my tea like I like my women: strong and black!".

I dislike drinking plain water. Black tea, no sugar, does the job and provides a mild stimulant effect as a bonus.

I avoid simple carbs until at least late afternoon. Any boost they give me is very temporary, then I'm struggling not to fall asleep.
