The Karate Kid (2010 version, with Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith).

Jackie Chan is perfect in the "Mr Nyagi" role.

9/10

More than perfect... More like a "wow"

A stupid film without any Karate, which you might have thought would be it's prime requisite.

Obviously it would have been totally impossible to either use the correct martial art or change then name of the film.

History is the lies of the victors coupled with the delusions of the defeated. It is an imagined certainty created at the point where the imperfection of memory meets the inadequacy of documentation.

Sinister

Good horror movie. A man finds snuff movies in the attic of his family's new home. Guess who's going to star in the next oneā€¦...

Interstellar: 10/10

I wasn't a big fan of the ending (well one part of it). I can't explain why I wasn't a fan of that scene without spoiling the film. Apart from that complaint though it was a good movie.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes 10/10

I'm not anti-social; I'm just not user friendly.

The Lost Honour of Chris Jefferies

Fact-based drama about an almost-certainly autistic man who was falsely arrested and had his reputation trashed in the press after the murder of one of his tenants.

Actually a two-part tv drama - first part good, second part concentrates too much on being a documentary, at the expense of dramatic tension.

History is the lies of the victors coupled with the delusions of the defeated. It is an imagined certainty created at the point where the imperfection of memory meets the inadequacy of documentation.

^ I watched that too. It was really good.

I hope the drama helps to rebuild the reputation he lost, but I doubt it will.

^ "Really good" is an overstatement.
