RE: What made you want to throw a brick at the TV today
I just saw a guy jerk off to cars for fifteen minutes on an early morning news program.

Seriously, it's pathetic, the guy was fifty or something and he wastes a full 15 minutes going...

"Phwoar" and panting like a dog, trapped in a car! Good job there isn't any real news in the world, good job that there's no wars or atrocities being committed.

"And then he is gone and Lazarus is left alone to wonder which is worse - a God that does not care to understand His creation or a God that thinks that he does." Lazarus by John Connolly.

A multi-choice question on a quiz show, asking if Michelangelo's statue of David was made from granite, limestone or marble.

Er, two of those are correct, marble being a form of limestone.

Absolutely! Well, Episode II does. I haven't seen Episode III because I saw Episode II.

I just bought the soundtrack to II. I won't watch the film, but the music's great. John Williams, naturally.

History is the lies of the victors coupled with the delusions of the defeated. It is an imagined certainty created at the point where the imperfection of memory meets the inadequacy of documentation.

Er, two of those are correct, marble being a form of limestone.

Just out of interest, which did the contestant choose? Because you're quite correct about marble being a metamorphosed form of limestone.

If they did that in the states, there would be a huge fine by the federal commission known as the FCC.

What I shouted at my TV today when Assad appeared

Me: F*** you, you goblin-ra**ing, baby murdering c***!

I almost threw a brick at my TV though when they put a simple story about the royals attending a bake-sale or some s*** over the death of Seamus Heaney in coverage/importance.

They also put the funeral of Thatcher over the Boston bombing.

Who is this massive wanker twat tit you ask?

The sad part is that's probably true. You can splatter brains on the walls as much as you want, just as long as there's no nudity.

Two documentaries about JFK, both claiming that he was the youngest ever US President. Wrong. Theodore Roosevelt takes that one.
