Greengage jam on toast.

History is the lies of the victors coupled with the delusions of the defeated. It is an imagined certainty created at the point where the imperfection of memory meets the inadequacy of documentation.

RE: What are you eating?
I just had toast with butter and strawberry jam and a Mason jar of coffee... people keep stealing the cups and even bowls from the common room, so now we're drinking out of jam jars/margarine containers/flower vases/mason jars. Pretty sad.

I'm sentimental if you know what I mean.

I just ate some "Lithuanian salad".

It's basically sauerkraut from a jar, made primarily from carrot and cabbage in vinegar.

It's inexpensive and underrated as a low-calorie snack.
