Homestar Runner Thread
Hello world!

I was going to post more old Homestar Runner clips in the Old Internet Classics thread. Instead, I decided to create a separate thread for them. Are there any other Homestar fans here on AFN?

RE: Homestar Runner Thread
Hello world!

I like Homestar Runner. They have good videos and fun games. I've noticed that whenever I'm very depressed, I go onto Homestar Runner and do whatever though. Peasant's Quest is a fun game. Yes, it's very basic for a game, and it's virtually impossible to actually finish unless you look up things on the internet. Yes, you spend a lot of time wandering around, wondering what you're supposed to do, and yes the world you play in is very small, but it's entertaining, and it's fun to try and find all the Easter eggs. Some of the messages are funny.

"Some prisoners spent more than ten years buried in solitary cells the size of coffins, hearing nothing but clanging bars or footsteps in the corridors. They survived because they could talk to each other by tapping on the wall. In that way, they told of dreams, memories, and fallings in and out of love; they discussed, embraced, and fought; they shared beliefs, beauties, doubts, guilts and those questions that have no answers.
When it is genuine, when it is born of the need to speak, no one can stop the human voice. When it is denied a mouth, it speaks with the hands, the eyes, the pores, or anything at all because every single one of us has something to say to the others, something that deserves to be celebrated or forgiven by others."-Eduardo Galeano
