The Good Doctor
I watched the first episode. Not bad. Someone apparently decided that House and Big Bang Theory were so successful, why not make a show that combines significant elements of both

Should I keep watching?

RE: The Good Doctor
So far I'm loving the show. We are 2 or 3 episodes in.

It's good for my son, he can see that people like himself can be successful.

It's good for my wife in terms of understanding our son better.

Last night's episode saw the lead character operating on a fellow autistic. It had me in tears a couple of times.

My daughter the overachieving NT said to my wife after the show "I still want to be a doctor but I'm not autistic", concerned after watching the show that only autistic people can be awesome doctors. It shines a bit of light on a couple of things she has said recently, like wanting to be a schoolteacher instead of a doctor.
