The Blunder Years?
I recently finished writing a short story/play about an awkward and aimless eighth grader (thirteen-year-old), his family, and some of his classmates. Also, it's set in 1994, with many references to the pop culture and news of the day. If you're interested, send me a private message and I'll give you the link. I'd love feedback from as many people as possible, since even though I enjoy writing, I'm not very confident in my abilities.

I don't get it. Whatever I'm doing to try to fit in here, it doesn't seem to be working. Maybe I should make peace with the fact that I'm an outsider wherever I go.

RE: The Blunder Years?
You want feedback from a 2018 version of an awkward and aimless 13-year-old? My son loves reading.
