Much as yesterday, a few more clouds and less windy.

History is the lies of the victors coupled with the delusions of the defeated. It is an imagined certainty created at the point where the imperfection of memory meets the inadequacy of documentation.

It was kind of gloomy and rainy today. It was great sleeping weather, enough though I wanted to do something. Sad

RE: Your Weather?
We've got rain here! Finally. In the month since I was in hospital, it's only rained here once, and then it was nothing to write home about. Now it's only sprinkling, but it's lovely to see.

You know it's getting a bit dry around here when the kangaroos come out of the bush and start to graze alongside the sheep and cattle in the paddocks. Where I live, we're still on the edge of farmland, and when I was going in to physiotherapy, I saw a mob of Eastern Grey kangaroos grazing in a sheep paddock. There was one big male, he was displaying, it being spring here now, by standing as tall as he could make himself on two legs, throwing his head back and scratching his chest with his two front paws. The females around him appeared far more interested in the grass, but I thought he looked impressive!

Colder, cloudier.

15C, drizzle at 10:20am on Sunday.

Summer just 2 weeks away, and it feels like winter.

To be fair, we did have heat waves in October/end of winter and bushfires. I prefer the cold weather, personally.

RE: Your Weather?
Late winter and early spring were very warm (and dry) in Sydney, records were broken. Now it feels like we are in for an English summer. Given that, if the warm and dry weather continued, we were going to be in for a nightmarish summer of bushfires, I guess that an English style of summer isn't too bad.
