What's that in Celsius, around 20? That's what it is here at the moment. Which is definitely cool-ish for this neck of the woods and this time of the year. We're generally in full summer heat by now.

We're one month till winter... and in Celsius terms that would 21 degrees.

Ever since this Global Climate change farce... its always been on/off hot one year, on/off cold, and on/off inbetween.

Farce? Every reputable climate specialist now agrees that Climate Change is inevitable.

I think the earth is currently undergoing something like a human fever - sweats followed by chills, as the temperature swings wildly in attempts to achieve equilibrium.

Most people seemed to think a few years ago that climate change would consist of a few degrees extra heat, the ice melting and the seas quietly rising. But they didn't seem to factor in evaporation, and pushing energy into the atmosphere and switching off or changing oceanic currents as heat sinks in the ocean changed. Plus we've queered the picture even more by building cities which are in effect heat sinks on a rocky desert and adding massive weight onto the earth's crust by damming rivers. Not to mention what we're doing to the Amazon rainforest and digging channels through the Great Barrier Reef marine park for ships to carry coal on a more direct route to China.

We are now seeing record-breaking droughts, typhoons, floods, etc. It's just a little sample of what's to come.

A sunny midday in Beijing. Air so thick you could cut it into blocks and use it as building material:

Cold, cloudy, mist becoming drizzle.

History is the lies of the victors coupled with the delusions of the defeated. It is an imagined certainty created at the point where the imperfection of memory meets the inadequacy of documentation.

RE: Your Weather?
Yesterday was Sydney's coolest November day since 2006, at 17.6C.

Doesn't feel much warmer today. Cloudy, intermittent drizzle.

RE: Your Weather?
The weather is predicted to be 27 degrees C on Wednesday here in Canberra. Which is way above the average for here.

RE: Your Weather?
I think it feels even colder in Sydney because we just had the warmest winter on record.
